Penny Stock Answers

What about short term investing? I ask why penny stocks are so taboo, & people respond assuming I’m going to hold on to them long term.
But if I’m going to sell when it increases week(s)/month(s) later, what is there to lose besides the stock just going down & down in price which is the obvious risk with any stock

I am 21 years old. I’m currently a nursing student taking my prerequisites & approaching a very grueling nursing program about a year from now . I have this problem & that is most of the times I can’t concentrate on my studies. One of the reason is I have so many interest that I really need along with my studies. First is financial & economic matters specially dealing with Investments like the stock market, mutual funds etc. My plan is to accumulate all the knowledge that I can possibly have through self studies, & when the time that I graduate nursing school & make some good money then I’m pretty well equiped to plunge myself in our complex & dynamic financial world of Investing, while I’m young & also in order to maximize the magic of “Compounding Interest”. I really believe that the earlier you start investing the greater the return of your investments. So pretty much while working as a nurse I’m also a sophisticated investor. Second is I’m working as a call center agent answering detailed questions regarding all the electronic technology products. Pretty much everything from Computer,GPS,radio,HDTV,software,mp3,cam etc. I love technology & I’m also a pretty savvy one with this stuff & actually I Inevitably NEED to be savvy & knowledgeable to answer all my customer’s questions. We all know that the world of technology is very fluid thats why I need to keep up with it, plus the fact that I need to be ahead of my customers knowledge so I can gain their confidence. I’m also an advanced magician but I slow down because I think that I can’t really depend from it financially. I believe that to be a real master in anything you have to take it seriously & pretty much like an obsession. I studied many successful people & they have a common denominator & that is they are passionate on what they do. They’re doing it Morning, afternoon & night everyday. I’m doing this right now but I’m really struggling to balance all my stuff. PLEASE HELP ME. I don’t want to fail my nursing studies but I NEED to learn all this stuff NOW or else I will loose all those time which is equivalent to money. I also feel that by delaying all this investment years of my life that I’m loosing evry penny that supposed to be gaining interest & compounding every year, & I can’t bring back all those wasted time by not doing it pretty soon. I hate my job & will be looking for a new one after Christmas. Thing is I’m 33 & this is my first office job (Been in retail all my life) & I dont know what to move on to! Its hard to research when I dont know where to start! I dont have the money, or time to do extra training courses which I know would improve my chances. I cant take a lower position as every penny counts at the moment. I’d stick it out but I’ve already been here a year longer than I wanted & the stress is actually starting to affect me now…any sensible ideas would be appreciated. I’m good on a pc, admin, stock control but def not sales! I’m in the UK by the way.

I’m 19 & just starting out in the world. (I plan to go to college eventually, but it’s not realistic for me right now.) Are there any books I could read to get myself prepared for handling my fiances? I’ve been good with saving money, but I know there are tips & tricks for people who understand the system. Right now I live in an apartment in NYC & am 100% independent of my parents (finally! It took 1.5 years to be able to support myself.)
I literally have a savings account & a checking account. No retirement fund, no health care (as of yet), no credit score, no stocks, ect.
I know there are tons of books/web sites/whatever to get started on this stuff. Any one have any good suggestions to point me in the right direction? In this economy, every penny counts.

i bought shares in a penny stock which has the potential to find an ore body in the size of 4 billion tons at least, so even at low grades how much would a deposit like this be worth .
oh yes the deposit they are looking for is for copper & moly
the company trades at about 20 cents now & the name of the company is bell copper symbol bcu on the canadian market, it has about 80 million shares outstanding , so if they hit the 4 billion ton where will the share price go , where will the market cap reach , i mean what is a fair price for a major to buy it , or maybe the chinese will buy them out.
they are in a good area for finding this size deposits because of already knowm discovories in arizona.
i just want to know what the potential buyout price would be if they find a large deposit.

If i bought like 100 thousand shares at 0.0019 & it went up to say a dollar would it be worth $100,000? If so why wouldn’t someone with some money to spare invest like $100 in a bunch of these & sit on them for a couple of years? One of them might just get up to a dollar…

My friend’s mother is starting to loose her decision making ability. He is already her custodian as far as social security administration is concerned. What would he have to do to get legal custody of her so he can put her assets into a trust for her to make sure she doenst do anything foolish? Likewise he would like to administrate her retirement account so she does not go & sell all her bonds & buy some random penny stock. Is there anything in the SSA forms that already gives him the legal ability to do this? She does not think she is that bad & will not be cooperative. Also she is a bit of an angry person & he is worried she might go on a shooting spree.

I have seen many stocks go from .01-$1.00 but never get talked about anyplace.
Penny stocks are the best way for anyone to get rich in this country.
Is that maybe why they bad mouth them? They dont want everyone investing in them & becoming rich?

I own 2,750,000 shares in a stock that is about to most likely undergo a “50 to 1″ reverse split. When this happens, every 50 shares I hold will be converted to a single share, but the price of the individual share will raise quite a bit. I bought this stock at a whopping .0004 per share & have traded it both up & down & made some decent money in the last few months.
Now I’m wondering if I should grab several million shares & hold on for the split which will drastically reduce the number of shares I hold, but also (hopefully) drastically improve my investment with this stock that I once regarded as a “throw away penny stock”
Any seasoned advice out there from people with positive outlooks?

I own several hundreds shares of American Mortgage Acceptance Company, which was recently delisted from the NYSE, where it was listed as AMC. It is now traded over the counter as AMOA. My holdings are now essentially worthless (valued at a penny a share) & I’m trying to figure out what to do.
Any idea on how I should proceed?
Tax wise, I’m expected to make more money next year than I will this year, if that’s a consideration.

When, you watch the nightly news & see a farmer, making pennys on his daily toil out on the farm.. Then you see these ( scumbag – leeches ) 30 year old white male suits making millions trading his daily toil on Wall Street.. Portk Bellys, wheat, oranges, etc.. There is something not right with that picture.. Yea, yea, its called capitalism… MY BUTT!

I’ve been doing a lot of investing lately & have purchase ZVTK, PCAI, & AERP, Does anyone have any suggestions as to which companies that are really cheap penny stocks will be or are expected to do really well this year?

First of all, I’m twelve years old, & know that a lot of people are getting pretty wealthy off stocks.
I already talked to My mom about what to do, & she gave me good advice, like there’s stocks that go on sale, & what companies would be good to invest in, & sites live www.fool.com. I just need more knolage on how to go about my finacal gateway dream, & how to open an E*TRADE account because my age, & I don’t know my socal #. Yes I’m a legal US citecen, & yes I’m smarter than the normal twelve year old!

There are so many con advisers out there that only want your hard earned cash.Does anyone know of a good,honest & down to earth adviser that does his home work & care about his clients. i not mine the fee $$ but there are too many crooks out there… I love to trade but no time to check out the real good stocks i love penny stocks but they are a tuff ones to gain on if there are any good adviser out there please let me know thank you much Rod
